BENEFITS OF WRITING

Why is it good to write?

8Benefits of Writing
Before you start something, you need motivation. Before you start learning something, you need proof that it will use you in the future. It is normal, it is part of the learning process of any adult.
That is why I will discuss in this subchapter about the benefits that writing can bring, even if you do not want to become a writer, copywriter or blogger.
1. Writing can bring you many psychological and social benefits, no matter where you work. Even successful people write almost every day, either secretly or publicly:
Warren Buffet defines writing as "the key to refining his thoughts";
Richard Branson said he has almost every day with him a notebook that he values ??very much and which he uses to write his thoughts;
Bill Gates has a blog on LinkedIn and is taking his time to write quite often;
Many other personalities, whether business, musical, political, sports or even theater and film, have a blog or even a notebook for which they have time to write.
In all these cases, writing became a substitute for thought, a manifestation of expressiveness, a tool of personal branding. Writing also helps to build the image of these personalities and strengthens their way of thinking and acting.
2. Writing has a therapeutic effect and it is proven that writing makes you healthier and happier.
He writes about you, how you want to achieve your future goals and how you feel after.
Following an experiment in Philadelphia, the United States, on a number of stressful job subjects, it turned out that people who started using a diary in which they wrote daily that their work is making a change in the world and - Increased productivity in the workplace by 29% in 14 days.
3. Writing helps you think and communicate better. Do not try to be comfortable in choosing words, describe in as many words what you feel, what you see and what you are experiencing every day. You will see that you communicate better with others, you will be more convincing in your speech, and develop your emotional intelligence.
How many times did not happen to have a great idea in mind, but to say so badly in words that you do not convince anyone that your idea is good? It has happened to me many times, in times when I did not write regularly. Believe me, writing helps you get rid of this "syndrome."
4. Does writing help you get over hard times easier? There is a strong link between writing and emotionally impacting events in a man's life. Writing can be a way to download you emotionally when you have no one to share your experience with, but also a way to accept what happened to you and to pass more easily over.
I read an interesting study on the subject about a number of engineers who were fired from the job shortly before the study began. Researchers have discovered that engineers who have had a habit of constantly writing their thoughts could find a job faster than those who did not have that habit.
They were "less upset" by the former employer, had fewer negative thoughts about losing their job and had a positive attitude in looking for and finding a new job.
5. Writing keeps you in shape. So you could compare the writing with a mental sport that keeps your mind busy as you age. Like any sports exercise, writing keeps your mind healthy, trained and can prevent a number of brain problems.
6. Writing has an important role in relaxing your brain and relieving you of stress, whether by hand or keyboard.
As long as you write without stopping for at least 20 minutes, you will feel much better - you will feel more relaxed.
7. Writing maintains self-esteem, especially if you are writing about the things you are proud of in your life. Makes you more optimistic and safer on your future and your plans. However, it is not good to exaggerate - it does not write every day about the things you are proud of.
As in any repetitive activity, it's true that "what's too bad." He does not write daily about the same subject because he will lose his charm for you.
8. Writing shapes your thinking and concentration. Have you ever had too many tabs open in your internet browser? Have you ever tried to listen to music while sending an email, watching a video, and chatting with a person? I give it, and I'm sure you've tried several things at the same time, even if it's not the same.
Sometimes I have the impression that I'm trying to focus on too many things at the same time - I do not even get to work on something, because I think about what I'll do when I'm done.
